It is a great time for you this trip coincides with the end of the dry season and thus overlaps with Tiji Festival. in the monsoon while celebrating the triumph of good over evil in a ritual locals call the chasing of the demons. Tiji comes from the worlds ten Che Meaning of the hope of the Dharma prevailing in all worlds. This message guru Rinpoche carried through this region over thousand and thousand years ago. This trek start from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus and spend overnight in Pokhara. From Pokhara in the morning fly to Jomsom airport there will be able fly before 12:00pm because there are very strong windy will go on during the afternoon. the Jomsom airport is at about 2800m from the sea level. Jomsom is headquarter of Mustang district where many trekkers will meet from the Annapurna Circuit trekking and Jomsom Muktinath trekking.
Kagbeni is first night sleep in the mountain at 3100m. And at the same day or next morning before leave to Chhuksang need to check in special permit to go further Trekking to Chaile,Sumare,Ghilling,Dhakmar, Lomanthang,Mustang, There are side trip to Namgel Gompa,Choiser cave,Yara,Tange,Tetang then Muktinath. Tiji Festival consists of three days of Tibetan rituals. The Tiji centers around a myth which tells of a deity named Dorje Jono who must battle against his demon father to save tge jubgdin if Nystabg rin destruction. Tiji meaning of the hope of Buddha Dharma prevailing in all words and effectively a spring renewal festival. During this trekking the town will busy so need to pre-book Hotel or Guesthouse.
