Rolwaling valley trek is a high mountain valley trek which is located near the western border of our country. This is one of the challenging trails of our country and visitors have to sleep in their camping tents as there are no tea houses and lodges in the trail to Rolwaling valley. This beautiful valley is also known as “The Grave” due its location as to reach this valley you have to trek through some of the most remote and isolated villages of our country.
One can get an awesome opportunity to do the sightseeing of some of the highest mountain ranges so the world such as Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Lhotse, Pumori, Kanchenjunga, Fishtail and other many beautiful mountain ranges of our country. Some of the major attractions of this journey is the closer and majestic view of Mt. Everest, Langtang ranges, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankhar and Tso Rolpa lake. One can also get an opportunity to explore the ancient and authentic culture and lifestyle of people living in this region since many years. The trail passes through the alpine lakes, high pastures, waterfalls, hanging glaciers and view of snowcapped mountains. This beautiful journey combines the glory of both Khumbu region and Rolwaling valley.
Rolwaling valley trek starts with a scenic drive to Barabise from Kathmandu. We will then trek through many Sherpa and Tamang villages and reach the beautiful Rolwaling valley.
