Panch Pokhari trek is a newly opened trekking route in our country and offers some of the best adventure stuffs to the visitors. Although a newly opened trekking route but this trekking destination is rapidly increasing its popularity among the visitors. Panch Pokhari (4,100 m) is located at the northeast of Kathmandu at the base of the Jugal Himal and the ideal trekking season for this trekking destination is said to be between the month of March to May. This trek offers pristine views of mountains, rich culture, genuine adventure, bio-diversity and natural beauty. Panch Pokhari Trek reflects its name with the trails it possesses. Along the trails, there are Five Holy Ponds and Hindus pilgrimages.
This trek is one of the trekking spots with wilderness and is newly opened non-tourist trekking route. This trekking route offers lots of Himalayas views and pristine cultures and tradition of the local people. One can get an opportunity to do the sightseeing of some of the highest mountain ranges of the world such as Everest, Anapurna, Makalu, Manaslu, Pumori, Dhaulagiri and other many beautiful mountain ranges of our country. The major attraction of this journey are the five sacred lakes which one can easily see during the trial of this trekking destination.
Panch Pokhari Trekking starts with the sightseeing of some of the famous places of Kathmandu valley. We will then take a scenic drive to Chuatara and then trek via ancient villages to reach Sano Okhareni. Trekking ahead will take us to Hile Bhanjyang and then to Narsim Pati. We will continue our journey and reach Panch Pokhari where we will be doing the sightseeing of beautiful mountain ranges and watch the five majestic lakes. Trekking via Yarsa Gaon will bring us back to Melamchi. We will then take a 4hours drive to come back to Kathmandu and end our beautiful journey.
