If you are planning to trek in the Himalayas of our country along with the spectacular views of mountain range and also in a limited amount of time, then the Ganesh Himal trek is the ideal option for you. Ganesh Himal, located in the west of the mighty Langtang ranges is one of the demanding and popular trekking destinations of the world. The terraced hills, lush forests, diverse topography and Tamang culture are the essences that makes Ganesh Himal Trek a worthy one. As you walk along your trail, you will experience diverse vegetation in just a single day that ranges from sub-tropical vegetation region to alpine vegetation region.

Ganesh Himal is named after the legendary elephant headed Hindu god Ganesh. One can get an opportunity to do the sightseeing of some of the highest mountain ranges of the world such as Everest, Annapurna, Lantang ranges, Makalu, Manaslu, Lhotse and other many beautiful mountain ranges of the world. Visitors will also explore the unique lifestyle and authentic cultures of people who are living in this region since many years. Although adventurous but this region is a less visited area and one can enjoy the majestic natural beauty in a more peaceful way.

Ganesh Himal trek starts with the sightseeing of some of the famous places of Kathmandu. We will then take a scenic drive to Betrawati and then start our trek and reach Kispang. Trekking via Thulo Chaur and Gonga will take us to Rupchet. A short hike above Rupchet will take us to Shing La Pass and then crossing this pass will take us to Kharka. Trekking ahead, we will reach Borlang and then to Kingtang Phedi. We will then take a scenic drive and come back to Kathmandu to end our beautiful journey.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport transfer to your hotel and free day.

Day 02: Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu City at Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambu Nath Stupa( Monkey Temple).

Day 03: Drive Bus to Samari Bhanjyang(1250m) 
via Trishuli Bazaar (540m) from Kathmandu

Day 04 : Trek to Katunje Bazaar (765m) 
from Samari Bhanjyang(6:30 hours)

Day 05: Trek to Kintang Phedi (655m) 
from Katunje Bazaar(5:30 hours)

Day 06: Trek to Jharlang (1500) 
from Kintang Phedi(6:00 hours)

Day 07: Trek to Chalise (2000m ) 
from Jharlang(6:00 hours)

Day 08: Trek to Hindung() 
from Chalise(5:00 hours)

Day 09: Trek to Rajgang Kharka
from Hindung 5:30 hours)

Day 10: Trek to Kalo Seto Kunda 
(Black and White Lake) Ganesh Himal Base Camp(6:00 hours)

Day 11: Rest Day for acclimatization at Ganesh Himal Base Camp

Day 12: Trek to Rajgang Kharka
from Ganesh Himal Base Camp(6:00 hours)

Day 13: Trek to Chalise (2000m) 
from Rajgang Kharka(6:00 hours)

Day 14: Trek to Lapa Besi(1500) 
from Chalise(6:00 hours)

Day 15: Trek to Manyang Bhanjyang (2934m) 
from Lapa Behi(5:00 hours)

Day 16: Trek to Majhgaun (2200m) 
from Manyang Bhanjyang(6:00 hours)

Day 17: Trek to Budathum
from Majhgaun(5:00 hours)

Day 18. Trek to Arughat Bazaar (500m) 
from Budathum(2:00 hours)

Day 19 Drive back to Kathmandu from Arughat Bazaar

Day 20:Free Day in Kathmandu.

Day 21: Final  Departure drop in International Airport for Home Country.

Cost Include

  2. Four nights standard accommodation in star level hotel in Kathmandu.
