Ganesh Himal is a sub-range of the Himalayas located mostly in north-central Nepal. The highest peak in the range is Yangra(Ganesh I) i.e. 7422m above sea level. The name of the ranges was derived from the Hindu deity Ganesha, depicted in the form of an elephant. It was first summited on Oct 6, 1955. Ganesh Himal base camp trek leads through the less explored trekking trials.

Short info on Itinerary:

Ganesh Himal trek starts with the sightseeing of some of the famous heritage sites of Kathmandu. The starting point for this trek is Syabrubesi which is 122km away from Kathmandu. Then trial heads towards Gatlang from where we move towards Somdang. Crossing the Pangsang Pass, we will trek up to Ganesh Himal Base Camp where we spend 2 nights viewing white giant mountains. Then we will trek back to the same trail up to ‘Hindung’ and set on a new trial passing through ‘Chalise’, ‘Darkha’, and finally to ‘Khahare Kharka’ from where we will drive back to Kathmandu and end our trip.
