Tour Overview

Siklis village, the biggest and earliest “Gurung” settlement of our country is located just to the right north of Pokhara. This is one of the newly opened trekking routes of our country and this trekking destination is rapidly increasing its popularity among the visitors and trekkers.  Trekking to the Himalayas of our country and doing the sightseeing of the Himalayan ranges and the culture of local people is a lifetime dream to all the trekkers and mountaineers of the world. One can explore the unique lifestyle and culture of people living in this region since ancient period.

This journey rewards the visitors with an opportunity to do the sightseeing of the ancient Tibetan culture and lifestyle of Tamang and Gurung people. Visitors will also be doing the sightseeing of some of the highest and famous mountain ranges of our country. This is an easy trek and is affordable for all of the variances of ages and one can easily reach to the destination of our journey with a good physical stamina. This is an amazing short trek and traverses a variety of terrain from low land villages and rich terrain up to Nepali’s biggest Gurung (Gurkha) village as well as blooming forests of rhododendron in the spring. The villagers follow with Shaman priest and Buddhist priest in marriage, death and dealing with ill fate.

Tara Top and Siklis Trekking journey starts with the sightseeing of some of the famous places of Kathmandu valley. We will then take a scenic drive to Bijayapur which is a 2hours drive from Pokhara. We will start our trek and hike through Kalikasthan to reach Siklis Phedi. Trekking ahead will take us to Pharche and then finally to the summit of Tara top hill. We will do the sightseeing and then trek via Bhurjumg Khola to reac Pokhara valley.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival day in Kathmandu. Pick-up from International airprt and manage room and free day.

Day 2Kathmandu sight seeing, Swayambunath,Bauddhanath,Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbarsquare.

Day 3Drive 2 or 3 hrs. Start point of Rafting and overnight river side camp.

Day 4After breakfast continue rafting 3 hrs and having lunch and drive to Bandipur.o/n.

Day 5Bandipur: before leave to Pokhara walk around Bandipur and drive 3 hrs Pokhara.

Day 6Pokhaara After breakfast drive to Trekking start point Bhurjung khola and trek to Ghale Gaon.Mt.1200.

Day 7Ghale Gaon to Tara Top.4 to 5 hrs. all the way up hill in the forest valley.Mt.3000. view point of Annapur region mountain. it is very nice view point.

Day 8Tara Top to Parche. 4 to 5 hrs walk.Mt.1900. After lunch visit Siklish village how Gurung people are living life style.

Day 9Parche to Lamakhet 5 to 6 hrs walk and drive by bus to Pokhara 2 hrs.

Day 10Pokhara free day. This is great opportunity for paraglaiding and side trip around Pokhara.

Day 11Pokhara to Chitwan. 5 to 6 hrs drive and will do some activities in Chitwan.

Day 12Elephant riding,canowing,Elephant Breeding Center.

Day 13Early morning Bird watching and breakfast and drive to Bharatpur Airport and fly to Kahtmandu 20 to 25 minutes. and drive to Hotel 20 to 30 minutes. Kathmandu o/n.

Day 14 Free day. very good opportunity to take Everest flight early morning and afteroon can have shoping time.

Day 15Departure to International airport Kathmandu.
