Panch pokhari Trekking is a fascinating trekking spot in Nepal which was recently opened non tourist trekking destination in Nepal. The trek passes through traditional villages and stunning beautiful labndscapes. This trek offers pristine views of mountains, rich culture, genuine adventure, bio-diversity and natural beauty. Panch Pokhari Trek reflects its name with the trails it possesses. Along the trails there are Five Holy Ponds and Hindus pilgrimages. Panch Pokhari Trek is one of the trekking spot with wilderness and is newly opened non-tourist trekking route. This trekking route offers lot’s of Himalayas views and pristine cultures and tradition of the local people. The panch pokhari trek begins from Chautara after about 4 to 5 hours of drive from Kathmandu passing through the villages of Sherpas and Tamang people. It rises up to 4074m at Panch pokhari and ends at the Tibetan border “Tatopani”. Historical pilgrimages, places, caves, Lakes are the major attractions of this route. It also offers a trekking experience to the base of Mt. Jugal. Since has not been opened for tourists only local people or Local tourists get to experience a momentous trekking through this route. Panch Pokhari Trek carries a cultural importance as well. Trekkers first travel by bus to Chautara distanced about five hours from Kathmandu. Panch pokhari is a source of peace, brotherhood and solace where thousands of pilgrims come on every Janai Purnima( Festival celebrated by Brahmins of Nepal) from surrounding villages and lots of Shamans (witch doctors) in a special customs which is    really notable. The nature of the trekking is fully camping trek and and its elevation rises up to 4074m. The Five lakes are the major attraction and is a very fresh destination near the Kathmandu valley naturally, culturally, traditionally enriched with wonderfull adventure, waterfalls, endangered wild animals and lot’s of beautiful floras.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu transfer to Hotel  and free day.

Day 02: Kathmandu city sightseeing, Swayambunath,Bauddhanath,Kathmandu Durbarsquare and Pashupatinath.

Day03: Kathmandu  to Chautara(1450m)4 to 5 hrs.

Day 04: Chautara   to Sano Okhareni(1965m)4 to 5 hrs.

Day 05: Sano Okhareni    to Kamikharka(2810m) 4 to 5 hrs.

Day 06: Kamikharka   to Pauwa  Bas.(3000m)5 to 6 hrs.

Day 07: Pauwa Bas   to  Hile Bhanjyang(3400m)5 to 6 hrs.

Day 08: Hile Bhanjyang    to  Narsim Pati(3700m)6 to 7 hrs.

Day 09: Narsim Pati    to  Panchpokhari and back Narsim.5 to 6 hrs.

Day 10: Narsim Pati    to   Yarsa Gaun(2000m).3 to 4 hrs.

Day 11: Yarsa Gaun   to Dap(1200m) 3 to 4 hrs.

Day 12: Dap   to  Melamchi(800m) 5 to 6 hrs.

Day 13: Melamchi to Kathmandu. 3 to 4 hrs drive.

Day 14: Free Day.
