Day 1 in the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu marks the beginning of this trek. The next day can be devoted to sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley. With numerous places to visit, sightseeing around Kathmandu is never enough. Visits can be done to the sacred temple of Pasupatinath, Boudhanath stupa and Bhaktapur Durbar Sqaure with its major attractions being the lion gate, golden temple, museums, bastola temple, Krishna mandir and many more. On day 10, upon driving into Tansen from Lumbini, the day is spent there after sightseeing around the city. The next day includes a drive to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara with many sights to behold. Gupteshwore Cave, Mahendra Cave, Davis Falls, Mountaineering Museum, etc are notable places to visit the following day. The next day ends with a drive to Sarangkot. The next day offers spectacular sunrise views from Sarangkot and also an opportunity to hike as well as paraglide across the sky if possible. Upon returning to Pokhara more sightseeing is done before departing the next day.
